Have you been waiting for the lightning bolt out of the sky to tell you what your purpose in life is?  Sometimes it feels like that's what it would take.  You don't know where to focus, what to do or which way to go.  If only there was a divine intervention to give you that needed push!  Sometimes it would just be nice to hear a loud voice out of the heavens to tell you what to do next.  But unless you want to give up having a mind of your own, that's not a good idea.

Some believe we come into this world with a predetermined purpose.  There's nothing wrong with that of course.  But it could keep you feeling as if you have no power and simply drifting along waiting for a purpose to find you.  That sounds a bit frustrating.  I think I would feel like whatever choice I made, it might be the wrong one.  I would hate to make things worse for myself or those around me!  I know, maybe a little too much worrying on my part, but I find that choosing my own purpose has a whole lot more excitement and allure.  

You can still act on choosing your own path whether you think it's predestined or not.  Finding your unique mission in life will make you feel passionate.  If you feel the passion and are fulfilled, who's to say that isn't your destiny?  Finding your uniqueness will be something you know.  It will define who you really are inside when you use your full abilities and the talents that are natural to you.  Even if you don't have a clue at the moment, only you can say when that truly happens.  

Do you want to start finding out what it means to be you?  If there is something already in your life that makes you feel passionate and like you have a purpose, keep doing it.  Share your talents with others.  If you don't know exactly what those talents are, go find them!  When something feels right, you'll know.  Anything that brings joy and gives something back to those around you is a step in the right direction.  It doesn't really matter what you're doing so long as you keep trying.  

What makes you feel passionate?  Think of those things and then work at them.  What truly makes you feel fulfilled and gives your life meaning?  Whatever it is, it's yours if you want it to be.
