Emotions & Health

Did you know there is a direct connection between your health and your emotions?  You may have read about the scientific studies that show the connection between your physical and mental health.  What you believe about your health and how much you believe in your physical health is also a key ingredient to achieving and maintaining good health. 

You can literally change your body by how you think.  Sounds a little far fetched doesn't it?  Think about it for a moment and recall that everything is energy.  That includes your body and everything around you.  The computer screen or piece of paper you are looking at is composed of atoms and atoms are energy.  Everything is made up of that energy.  It is possible to change your body with positive energy.  The positive energy comes from your thoughts.  Thoughts are energy just like everything else, just a different kind.  Positively affirming your own good health can affect your physical makeup.  If you affirm to yourself every day that your lifestyle is healthy, this will change how you think and that in turn changes your behavior. 

Now, changing your health is not an instantaneous process at all.  However, starting the process is pretty simple.  Focus what you want your health to be.  Do not focus on what you currently have and do not want.  State your affirmations in the present.  Use the powerful "I am" statement rather than "I want" or "I wish."  You could state, "I am losing weight easily and effortlessly."  That sounds much better than "I wish I could get rid of this weight."  It is a matter of changing how you think.  Whenever you feel the negative thoughts creep up on you, just acknowledge them and let them go.  That way, they can't take root and undo your positive efforts. 

Take a few moments to write down some of these positive thoughts and affirmations.  Focus only on the healing that you are seeking.  Give thanks for the healing that is already there.  In that way, you avoid even mentioning any current problem and state a faith in your body to heal. 

Again, this is not an instant process.  It will take time to align your energy with your new thought patterns.  Give it a little time and you will be amazed at the energy you will have in all aspects of your life.  Remember to express gratitude for your good health that is already here.  This will bring more good health into your life.
