Do You Trust the Law of Attraction?

Trusting is a learned experience and difficult to perfect in a world that is more and more impersonal on an hourly basis. Learning to believe in something you cannot reach out and touch, like the Law of Attraction, is even more difficult when you first begin to remove doubt and experiment with a new way of thinking and feeling.

Doubting sends out a negative message to the Universe, which limits or vaporizes the strength of your signal and perverts your response. The vibrations you send out have to be strong and positive with no room for tentativeness, if you want success.

Don't "but" yourself into failure. Sending "I want this, but…" will just fall by the wayside and not even get noticed by the Universe.

One of the basic tenets of the Law of Attraction is that you get back exactly what you send out. Small adjustments in your beliefs and attitudes will return amazing results from the Universe and help you to build up your trust and belief.

There's three easy ways to get started:

#1  Use past evidence

Think about the times you actually got what you wanted. Didn't you spend time fantasizing about it…anticipating having it…viewing images in your mind's eye of you using or enjoying it?

Enjoying the mental anticipation of getting your dream, without realizing it, was sending lots of energy right into the Universe, which responded by sending what you wanted right back to you. This process works even if you think about negative things. How many times have you run the dread of a possible nightmare happening in your life through your mind and had it happen? You get what you think and feel. It's that simple.

#2  Choose to believe anyway

Trusting someone is a deliberate choice you make when you meet someone you like. Wrong or right, it is a deliberate choice on your part and you do it without actually knowing if that person is trustworthy or not.

Learning to trust the Universe and the Law of Attraction is no different. Just do it! You will be pleasantly surprised by the change that trust will make in your life.

#3  Keep affirming

Constantly affirming that something you cannot see, is a little "over the top" when you first start to use affirmations, but it does work. Repetition of positive statements will wake up your subconscious mind and embed a new attitude in you that will bring amazing results to your life. Try it! You'll like it!

Nice post Robin. I like the way it is written.

I think “Choosing To Believe Anyway” is way more powerful than it sounds like it would be. Children are born knowing this technique and use it constantly during their young years. We all did.

Somewhere on the way to adulthood most of us lost it or just quit believing. It was a much nicer world when we believed in fairies and butterflies and Santa Claus.

When I think of how the world could change for the better and become a gentler, nurturing environment if we would all “Choose To Believe Anyway,” my heart smiles.

Keep sending out the message, Robin. It needs to be heard.

Hi Robin,

Awesome message in this post and something that I struggle with myself.

I think #1 - using past evidence and #3 - keep affirming are the most powerful tools for me.

I’m quick to remember all the times I didn’t get what I wanted, but remembering the times that I do get what I want requires work! :-)

And #3 points out how important consistency is in all this. You can’t just send out positive thoughts one time and expect great things to come flooding back to you. Like all things, it takes consistent effort.

On another subject, I absolutely love your new blog layout. It totally rocks!

Sorry I haven’t been around much lately. I miss you guys and hope to be back later this month.

Take care,
Katie
